The Toyota Tacoma is a mid-size truck that was introduced by Toyota in the mid-1990s. While the name itself was fairly new, Toyota had actually sold an un-named pickup truck for years. The Tacoma was considered a compact-sized truck until 2005, when it was redesigned on a larger chassis. That same year, it was named Truck of the Year by Motor Trend magazine.
The Tacoma comes in several body styles, and the owner manuals available below cover each of them. The Tacoma’s body styles include the standard cab, double-cab, SR-5 and TRD off-road packages. The Tacoma shares its chassis with the Toyota 4Runner.
