The Sequoia is Toyota’s large SUV, designed to compete with domestic offerings such as the Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. The Toyota Sequoia was introduced for the 2001 model year. It shares its chassis with the full-size Toyota Tundra, and was redesigned on its second-generation platform in the same year as the Tundra. The Sequoia, like some other Toyotas, comes in three trims: SR5, Limited and Platinum. A four-wheel drive package is also available for the Sequoia.
