The Chrysler Concorde is a full-size, four door sedan that was a replacement for the Chrysler Fifth Avenue. The Concorde was produced by Chrysler between 1993 through 2004 with the revolutionary “cab forward” design. This design maximizes interior spacing of the passenger cabin. The ‘first generation’ of the Chrysler Concorde is between the years of 1993-1997, while the ‘second generation’ is between 1998-2004. The engine size is a 3.3-liter engine or the 3.5-liter engine with trim options in SH, LX, or LXi. The upscale edition, the LXi, along with leather interior boasted a retractable mast antenna.
The Chrysler Concorde got voted A Car and Driver’s “Ten Best” in 1993-1994. Another achievement included a superior rating in crashworthiness in a 35 mph crash into a wall for the 1993 Concorde from the Center for Auto Safety.
