This luxury sports utility vehicle is full sized and manufactured by Chrysler. The Aspen and the Durango were the first of the hybrid vehicles produced by the company. Unfortunately in late 2008, the Aspen was disconnected due to the automotive industry’s declining fortunes.
The Aspen offered three V-8 engines, which included the 5.7 L Hemi V-8, 4.7 L V-8, and the 4.7 L flex fuel V-8 . The hybrid version was offered in 2009 a 340 horse power 5.7 L Hemi engine. It was also offered in two or four wheel drive.
In its short production, the Aspen was recognized by several different entities. In 2008, AutoWeek reported it more power, better fuel economy, and a bargain. Motor Trend also noted that it offers capability and comfort in a cheaper package.
