The Chevrolet Colorado was introduced in 2004 as a replacement for the aging S-10 truck. The Colorado’s GMC variant, the GMC Canyon, was released at the same time.
The Colorado is built in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is available in several variants, including standard cab, extended cab and crew cab. Buyers have a choice between four-cylinder or five-cylinder engines.
The Colorado is expected to receive a major facelift for the 2014 model year, the first major overhaul since the truck was released in 2004.
